Regarding the media coverage on the relevant issues of “Han Kuang Computer Aided Command Post Exercise”, Ministry of National Defense has provided the following explanations:
The training objective of the Han Kuang Exercise is to hone the defense force on executing various exercises and verification procedures through the method of “Rigorous, Difficult, and Practical”, and this exercise has achieved all training objectives with acquired result verification. The media coverage that involves the United States of America, Japan, and other relevant contents is a misinterpretation. Ministry of National Defense here clarifies that it will continue to refine various exercises based on the exercise results in order to elevate the overall defensive combat capability and ensure national security.
